Professional Journey
After a decade of teaching, I transitioned into print media as a freelance journalist. I have written for prominent publications like the Times of India and Mid-Day, as well as online portals such as Rediff.com, IndianTelevision.com, and Bonobology.com. My diverse portfolio encompasses nearly every form of journalism, from reports and features to reviews, travelogues, profiles, and interviews. Human-interest stories, especially those highlighting the underprivileged, have always been my favourite, leading me to contribute to the Chicken Soup for the Indian Soul series.

My experience also extends to editing. I've worked for a humour magazine, a film magazine, and even managed a local news weekly as my own project. While these roles broadened my horizons, writing remains my first love.

Travel
I fulfilled a long-held dream of being a globetrotter. Over ten years, I visited 40 countries, often exploring off-the-beaten-path and even travelling solo. Each journey has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to immerse myself in diverse cultures.

Strengths
I pride myself on an honest and objective approach, a quick grasp of various subjects, and the ability to examine all perspectives. My listening skills help me gain deep insights, and I have a knack for simplifying complex, inter-related issues, presenting them effectively for the target audience.

Interests
When I am not writing or travelling, my focus shifts to physical and mental well-being and spirituality. I find rejuvenation in both music and silence. As a happy single based in Mumbai, I love to laugh, sing, and dance, but my joy is rooted in deep care, not frivolity.
